Bigfoot signs record deal; debut single 'Blurry' goes triple platinum

Critics call it 'haunting, out of focus, and somehow in the woods.' Nobody has seen the music video clearly.

Treeline Records confirmed Friday that it has signed Bigfoot to a five-album deal, ending one of the longest unsigned careers in history.

His debut single, "Blurry," is four minutes of heavy breathing followed by a single twig snapping. "The twig is the hook," said the label's head of A&R. "You hear it once and it's in your head forever."

Bigfoot declined all interviews. "He's very private," his agent said. "He has been very private for four hundred years."

The full album, "Grainy Footage," arrives in the spring, followed by a tour of venues described as "near a forest, at dusk, viewed from a distance." Fans who attended the first show report having "definitely maybe" seen him.

The music video premiered Thursday. It is eleven seconds long and appears to have been filmed from inside a moving truck.

The Loch Ness Monster is said to be "absolutely seething."
